Role Overview:
The Finance Manager / Finance Director will be responsible for managing the Kairos Global Searchs full spectrum of financial and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. This role is both hands-on and strategic, suitable for a detail-oriented finance professional who can support both daily operations and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
- Manage payroll, staff claims, and statutory contributions (CPF, tax filings, GST, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements
- Partner with management to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Support contract invoicing, fee tracking, and collections related to client recruitment services
- Recommend and implement process improvements, automation, and financial controls
- Handle ad hoc financial projects and business analysis as required
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA qualification preferred
- 1015 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, ideally in professional services, consulting, or recruitment firms
- Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, tax, and compliance requirements
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or SAP)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work closely with business leaders
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced boutique environment
- Fluent in English; Mandarin is an advantage for regional support
