Our client is actively searching for a Manager, Student Recruitment to join their team!

The Manager will report to the Assistant Director. The Manager will have a dotted reporting line to Assistant Director of UPO Marketing, Outreach, Admissions. Working closely in partnership with the Marketing, Outreach & Admissions (MOA) pillar, he/she shall play an important role in the entire recruitment process for the scholar's programme, from marketing to outreach and admissions.

The manager will also oversee one staff member responsible for UPO-related activities that impact students, e.g., enrolment, curriculum planning, overseas exchange, and other programme components.

The responsibilities of this role are:

  • Formulate admissions plan and manage the admission processes to select top applicants to the scholar's programme
  • Drive outreach efforts to bring in the right applicants to the programme
  • Formulate & drive execution of the marketing plan for the programme
  • Drive analysis of market trends, candidates insights, programme trends and competitors analysis to build programme strategy
  • Spearhead social media marketing for the programmes to boost engagement with potential applicants, current UG students, and related stakeholder groups.
  • Initiate, organize and run information sessions/webinars/experience days locally as well as internationally (as and when required)
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Assistant Director, including the support of student management and curriculum matters

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

  • Degree in any field Business or Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Possess a creative and innovative mind for the development of engaging and targeted campaigns
  • An analytical thinker who could interpret campaign data to drive decisions
  • Keen knowledge of various digital marketing platforms and performance tracking
  • Keen knowledge of marketing automation tools such as HubSpot and SendGrid
  • Strong content marketing skills such as long and short-form content creation, copywriting
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and visualization of dataset
  • Able to work after-office hours/ weekend when required (This is due to outreach and marketing events which will typically be held over weekends such as open houses for Poly/JC students etc.)
  • Enjoy meeting and connecting with new people
