Manage a portfolio of distressed, watch-list, and non-performing accounts.
Prepare and present credit proposal on credit facilities restructuring and recovery action plans to management/Special Assets Committee
Support enforcement actions, litigation, or insolvency proceedings
Engage and negotiate with clients, legal counsel, receivers, and other stakeholders
Performs in-depth key credit risks and mitigation analysis and provides recommendation in clear and concise manner to maintain/improve loans asset quality
Provides general oversight of work processes and controls for the whole credit process including those arising (without limitation) from Business and Corporate Banking, Credit Administration, Loans Operations and Trade Operations
Manages credit risks of borrowing portfolio of Business and Corporate Banking via ensuring timely completion of credit evaluation of periodic credit review and tracking on compliance of covenants/conditions
Provides guidance to Relationship Managers of Business and Corporate Banking to improve on credit quality and credit underwriting skills and ensure compliance with Credit Policies and regulatory guidelines
Ad hoc tasks/projects assigned by management from time to time
Job Requirements
At least 8 years of relevant experience in performing credit risk management, special asset management, credit analysis of large corporations and/or small-medium enterprises
Experience in handling distressed assets, restructuring, recovery, or exit strategies
Familiarity with MAS regulatory guidelines, and Singapore insolvency framework management
Resilient, resourceful, and capable of handling challenging and sensitive situations
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
A self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision
