This role ensures that all accounting related tasks are professionally executed with accuracy and compliance with international standards whilst fostering a collaborative and innovative culture across their team.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the R2R process including journal entries, intercompany transactions, and fixed asset accounting.
- Oversees the execution of month and year-end procedures and oversees and coordinates the compilation of accounting packs for distribution to the relevant leaders in the business.
- Assigns, monitors and coordinates work assignments and activities.
- Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
- Oversee financial reporting, including group consolidation and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and group reporting.
- Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, and Treasury teams for budgeting and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation in R2R processes.
- Leads and manages an accounting team driving a collaborative and innovate team culture focused on achieving results.

Academic qualifications and certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, CA/CPA, CIMA or related field.
Required experience:
- 8+ years experience in R2R or financial reporting, preferably in a multinational company.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, local GAAPs, and financial consolidation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in DC industry preferred
- Prior experience working with stakeholders in other APAC countries (ie. Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand)
