Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: MANAGER/SENIOR MANAGER, ENTERPRISE TRANSFORMATION

Job Summary & Overview:

Positioned within Group Strategy & Transformation (S&T) and reporting directly into the Head of Enterprise Transformation, the Manager (Enterprise Transformation) is a dynamic, hands-on role responsible for driving critical execution workstreams across FairPrice Group's (FPG) transformation agenda.

A core focus of this role is serving as the Enterprise Change Lead for FPG's flagship AI and agentic transformation engine. In this capacity, the Manager will work in close, daily partnership with Human Resources (HR), Group Strategic Communications, Functional Tower Leads, and external strategic partner change management teams to orchestrate human readiness, stakeholder activation, and adoption as new AI agents and technology tools are launched across the business.

The Manager sits within S&T's central resource pool and will be deployed to lead or support other high-priority strategic initiatives as needs evolve across structural optimization (i.e: Work, Build, Spend Better), functional operating model redesigns, and Jobs of the Future (JOTF) workforce enablement programs.

Job Description:

[1] Change Management Orchestration (Core Focus)

  • Lead Initiative-Level Change Execution: Direct the end-to-end change management lifecycle for FPG's AI and Agentic 5-step transformation engine (Analysis & Design, Build, Change, Track, Support), ensuring user readiness, smooth go-lives, and sustained adoption of AI agents across Finance, HR, Digital & Technology (D&T), and future BUCFs.
  • Implement the Enterprise Change Message House: Operationalize FPG's unified, initiative-agnostic Enterprise Change Message House, tailoring communications and engagement plans for AI agent launches that touch colleagues at different levels of change impact.
  • Enterprise-Wide: Sync with Group-wide AI literacy, cultural shift, and alignment to FPG's commitment of reskilling, internal mobility, and no one left behind.
  • Function-Wide (Tower/BUCF): Focus on targeted operating model shifts, process re-engineering, and role evolution for the respective functional teams.
  • Team & Individual-Wide: Focus on granular persona-based impacts, day-to-day workflow adjustments, Human-In-The-Loop (HITL) control protocols, and tool onboarding.
  • Tripartite & Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Employee Relations, and Strategic Communications to ensure change messaging aligns strictly with FPG's commitments to employee dignity, upskilling investments, and transparent union/partner engagement.
  • Manager & Champion Activation: Design and execute manager enablement toolkits, training programs, and change champion networks to equip frontline and HQ leaders to lead their teams through technological transition with empathy and clarity.
  • Adoption & Sentiment Tracking: Monitor user adoption rates, track sentiment indices, identify resistance friction points, and implement targeted change interventions to ensure business case outcomes and productivity gains are realized.

[2] Cross-Functional Project Delivery & S&T Priorities

  • Drive Strategic Initiatives: Lead or support discrete, high-impact projects under the Enterprise Transformation portfolio-such as OPEX optimization, process redesigns, and operating model redesigns.
  • Problem Solving & Analysis: Take loosely defined operational or process questions across business units, structure the problem, conduct root-cause analyses, check underlying data quality, and develop actionable, data-backed solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with functional leads, process owners, and D&T teams to resolve interdependencies, manage risks, and unblock execution bottlenecks across transformation tracks.
  • PMO & Stakeholder Reporting: Support the Head of Enterprise Transformation in preparing high-stakes Steering Committee, Leadership Team, and Board-level presentation decks, scorecards, and narrative updates.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Success in this role means that employees, managers, and business leaders actively welcome and adopt new AI capabilities and transformation initiatives because they understand why FPG is evolving, feel fully supported in learning how to adapt, and clearly see their path forward in this journey.
  • You are valued across S&T and the broader business as an approachable, highly effective professional who bridges strategy, technology, and human change to deliver measurable, lasting business impact.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Organizational Development, HR, or a related field with 5-8 years of professional experience in change management, management consulting, corporate transformation, or strategic PMO roles.
  • Experience in leading large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Digital Transformation PMOs will be a plus.
  • Deep practical knowledge of change management methodologies and a proven track record of executing change strategies for large-scale enterprise technology or operating model transformations will be highly preferred.
  • Experience in AI/Agentic transformation or Next-Gen technology projects is a significant advantage.
  • Background in Retail or FMCG industries, navigating complex stakeholder environments is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset; able to distill complex operational workflows into clear process maps and translate technology/AI capabilities into practical business impacts.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and influence skills. Ability to build trusted relationships with senior business leaders, HRBPs, external consulting partners, and operational teams while navigating complex union and employee dynamics.
  • Collaborative leader with experience managing One Team cultures across internal staff and external consulting partners.
  • Strategic communicator with the ability to distill complex technical data into concise, board-ready narratives for the senior executives.
  • An adaptable and curious leader with a Growth Mindset who thrives in a continuous transformation environment.
  • Able to function independently and as a team, adaptable, and motivated by shared success.
  • Be available to work occasional evenings and weekends.
