The People, Performance, Culture (PPC) team contributes to making KPMG a great place to work by implementing best-practice programmes to attract, recruit, develop, groom and retain the best and brightest talent. The team looks after the full HR spectrum including but not limited to recruitment, manpower planning, performance and talent management and staff communications.
As a People Services Manager within the HR People Services function in KPMG, your duties will include but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the People Services and Payroll team to deliver timely, accurate, and employee-focused HR support.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex employee inquiries and issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes through harmonisation, standardisation, and digitalisation to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Implement and leverage HR technologies to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of HR systems and processes against business requirements, objectives, and user needs.
- Lead change management initiatives related to HR process enhancements and technology implementations, partnering closely with stakeholders.
- Establish, monitor, and report on service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure service quality and performance standards are met.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and development support to junior team members.
- Ensure team adherence to HR policies, procedures, statutory, and compliance requirements.
- Stay current with relevant employment legislation and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in HR service delivery or shared services.
- Proven people management experience.
- Strong, end-to-end knowledge of HR operations and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on process improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage technology to drive automation, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is an advantage.
