The responsibilities of this role are:
- Assist the Clinical HOD(s) and key stakeholders to plan, develop and implement new care models and clinical services to support the running and expansion of the CPGM department/clinic. Inclusive but not limited to the planning and implementation of the move to Pavilion wards and eventual move to Medical Tower when the building is completed.
- Drive the strategic expansion and promotion of precision medicine services, identifying new market opportunities and developing partnerships with clinical stakeholders.
- Coordinate and work closely with various stakeholders within and out of the hospital such as clinical, nursing, facilities and other operational, Ministry of Health (MOH), community partners or third-party vendors on behalf of the Clinical Department(s), such as but not limited to facilities/infrastructure matters, patient queries, IT issues, regulatory matters and financials.
- Identify issues, provide solutions and monitor progress of the assigned work to ensure that they stay on schedule and on budget.
- Manage, monitor and track budget(CAPEX and OPEX), timeline, cash flow, resources, risk assessment and make recommendations as appropriate.
- Plan, drive and manage quality improvement projects at Hospital-wide / Department level.
- Provide administrative support, including secretariat roles for assigned committees related to the projects undertaken by the department.
- Develops and reviews all department work processes, related policies and procedures. Ensuring that all policies are kept up to date.
- Manages / resolves inter/intra departmental conflicts and tension amongst staff.
- Participates in procurement process for purchases of items for department.
- Monitors and maintain proper inventory records for medical consumables, machines, supplies.
- Ensure optimal clinic resource utilisation
- Provides supervision and assistance in managing clinical emergency situations
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
- Bachelor's degree and above from any discipline.
- At least 8-10 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in healthcare administration or specialist clinic operations.
- Experience in practical aspects of project management involving operational technology systems in a healthcare organisation is an added advantage.
- Good collaborative skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders (clinical healthcare professionals, IT vendors, finance etc.) across different domains.
- Organised, meticulous individual with good project management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Dedicated and willing to go the extra mile to see things through.
- Excellent written skills, oral communications and presentation skills (English).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
