To support the organisation's growth by leading onboarding operations for Financial Representatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement through process and technology enhancements.
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new Financial Representatives, ensuring timely completion of fit and proper assessments, documentation reviews, and registration requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements by maintaining accuracy, quality, and consistency across all onboarding activities.
- Support the Lead of Onboarding in overseeing daily operations and serve as the primary backup to ensure business continuity and effective workload management.
- Act as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to foster a collaborative, high-performing, and service-oriented team environment.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Compliance, Distribution and Operations, to ensure onboarding processes align with business and regulatory requirements.
- Drive process improvement, digitalisation, and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and improve the onboarding experience.
- Lead and support strategic projects and system enhancements, including collaboration with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to implement technology-driven solutions.
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in onboarding, operations, or the financial services industry.
- Experience in leading, coaching, or mentoring team members.
- Good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within a financial services environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism, and work well in a team environment.
- Proactive, adaptable, and driven to improve processes and embrace change.
- Experience in project management, system implementation, or working with IT teams and external vendors (preferred).
