The Manager of the Medico‑Legal Case Management (MLCM) team provides comprehensive operational, clinical‑administrative, and case management support to the MLCM Team Lead to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the department. The role is responsible for the end‑to‑end management and coordination of actual and potential medico‑legal complaints and litigation matters, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant handling of cases in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel.
The Manager plays a critical role in safeguarding the organisation's medico‑legal interests through meticulous oversight of case documentation, clear communication with clinicians and lawyers, and the maintenance of robust medico‑legal records and databases. In addition, the Manager supports team capability building through mentoring, guidance, and professional development of junior team members.
