Job Description:

  • To source and procure for 3 Alcohol shops located in shopping malls.
  • To manage sake & spirit store cum overall management of alcohol shops located in the shopping malls.
  • Overseeing all aspects of the shop, including opening/closing procedures, customer service, ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
  • Managing stock levels, placing orders, receiving shipments, ensuring proper storage and display of products.
  • Staff supervision, training and evaluating staff, including support staff and maintaining a positive store environment.
  • Handling cash transactions, managing point-of-sale systems, preparing financial reports.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies, promotions and events to increase sales, achieving sales goals and customer engagement.
  • Possessing a strong understanding of sake and spirits, including different styles, regions and tasting notes. Buying and managing a variety of sake and spirit products. Business negotiation with foreign and local suppliers. Attend to business / operations meetings with mall / store management.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selections and handling customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
  • To communicate and prepare regular reports to Tokyo HQ in Japanese on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators via email, phone and physical meetings.
  • Maintaining a clean, well-organized, and inviting store atmosphere.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum A Level.
  • More than 10 years work experience with Food & Beverage Company.
  • Experience in food and beverage industry, store operations, customer-centric mindset and strong leadership in team management and staff development. Participate and contribute to sales goal.
  • Able to read, speak & write fluently in Japanese prepare written reports in Japanese for Tokyo HQ.
  • Able and willing to work on shifts, weekends, public holidays.
