The principal roles of Manager, O&M and Engineering are to lead and provide guidance in following areas:
(A) Technical business development
(B) Energy solution services (promotion of activities and project execution)
In the area of (A) technical business development projects, this role will lead the JERA internal functions & external parties (clients, authorities, partners, consultant, etc.), to perform business development related tasks (e.g. feasibility study, due diligence, OE, EPC/OEM selection).
As necessary, this role is to take part/lead in the commercial aspects in the above areas.
For (B) energy solution services, this role is to leverage JERA's cutting edge technology, in-house capabilities, and comprehensive energy portfolios, in working out tailor-made offering (e.g. low carbon solution, digitalization, O&M).
Such offerings are to be promoted to energy companies within Asia market, contributing to JERA group's mission & vision.
The day-to-day work involves providing leadership, strategy setting, lead and collaborate with related functions (internally with energy transition infrastructure department, energy transition promotion, O&M, engineering and business development. Externally with platform business partners, EPC/OEM, technical and financial advisors, EPC, OEM, etc).
This role will act as representative of JERA towards the external parties (clients, authorities, partners, consultants, etc.).
Essential Functions:

2. Energy Solution Services (promotion and execution)
This role is to lead/work together with internal and external parties, to minimize execution and operational risk in implementation of services solutions. Be instrumental in managing team resources to meet energy solution business plans and objectives.
This individual will work directly with the GM to prioritize projects and maximize value creation associated with those projects.
Competencies:
1. Strong initiative and great comfort working in unstructured environments
2. Experience in project management with team members from matrix organization
3. Deep understanding of value creation in energy power assets and markets in the region
4. Demonstrate ability to build relationships with partners and counterparties at the individual and senior leadership level
5. Deep understanding of power markets, policy and regulations, vendors, consultancy service providers, and power economics in Asia
6. Experience in negotiate and execute key project technical documents associated with the development, construction and operation of energy assets - for example, tender RFQ and EPC contracts
7. Experience in decarbonization - generation, storage, transportation and supply of H2, NH3, GT & boiler co-firing technology, etc.
8. Excellent interpersonal, relationship management and collaboration skills within large organizations and with broad multi-party outside organizations
9. Ability to summarize and present complex issues and opportunities into succinct and actionable terms
10. Ability to prioritize tasks to align with goals and effectively manage competing deadlines
11. Excellent organizational, presentation and verbal and written communication skills
12. Highly driven, detail-oriented and hard-working individual with high standards for self and others
13. Analytical problem-solving skills operates with unquestioned integrity.
Required Education and Experience:
1. University degree
2. More than 20 years of experience in engineering, project developing, structuring, origination, asset management, EPC/OEM.
3. Track record of plant operation, EPC/OEM of LNG & power industries, tendering, LNG/power plan consultancy or other related services in Asia region.
