About the Role
We seek a seasoned, outstanding individual to join as its Manager, Marketing & Communications and lead the implementation of ACPA's communications roadmap, including content strategy, digital engagement, event communications, and media outreach. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who combines strategic thinking with strong execution, creative flair, and excellent project management skills.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Manager will help position ACPA as a trusted, visible, and credible partner in the Asian philanthropy ecosystem-translating complex ideas into compelling narratives that inspire giving and collaboration on climate action.
Responsibilities
The Manager, Marketing & Communications will engage in the following areas of responsibilities.
. Support the implementation of ACPA's brand strategy, messaging framework, and tone of voice across all channels.
. Work with external agencies to produce brand and communications assets (e.g., templates, decks, infographics, case studies).
. Develop and manage ACPA's editorial calendar and content pipeline across website, LinkedIn, and other platforms as required.
. Research, write, and edit high-quality content such as articles, donor stories, partner spotlights, and thought leadership pieces.
. Oversee website updates and work with designers and developers to enhance user experience and impact storytelling.
. Support media engagement, including drafting press releases, managing media lists, and coordinating interviews and coverage.
. Cultivate relationships with key communications and ecosystem partners to amplify ACPA's visibility.
. Track and evaluate media performance and engagement metrics.
. Develop communications plans and promotional materials for ACPA convenings, briefings, and flagship gatherings.
. Create on-site and post-event content, including talking points, recaps, and visual assets.
. Support the production of POS and knowledge materials (e.g., starter kit, thematic briefs, country memos).
. Work directly with key internal and external stakeholders to develop programme marketing and communications needs, align messaging and deliverables, and serve as a four-eye check on all Point-of-Sales materials
. Manage external vendors and freelancers (writers, designers, photographers) to ensure timely delivery of outputs.
. Track communications KPIs, maintain documentation and asset libraries, and contribute to reporting and evaluation.
Qualifications and Requirements
. 10-12 years of experience and track record in communications - ideally with non-profit/non-governmental organizations.
. Proven experience developing and executing communication and brand strategies.
. Superb verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in writing, editing and storytelling. Proficiency in other Asian languages is advantageous.
. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a strong grasp of tone and audience adaptation.
. Experience managing social media channels and content calendars.
. Strong project management skills and comfort working with external vendors and cross-functional teams.
. Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism in engaging with multiple diverse stakeholders from various nationalities and backgrounds across multiple time-zones.
. While not mandatory, a genuine interest in climate change and social impact, and ability to quickly grasp related concepts are desirable.
. Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a small, collaborative team.
. Excellent events, project management and coordination abilities.
. Track record of working in environments requiring professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
. Resourceful problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude towards challenges and changes.
. Alignment with ACPA's mission and commitment to embodying ACPA values.
. Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or related field.
