About the Role

The incumbent will lead and optimize day-to-day R&D operations, managing resources, processes, and technologies to ensure projects are delivered on schedule. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and operational management to support multiple R&D projects, maintain lab assets, ensure safety compliance, and accelerate innovation.

  • Oversee daily R&D operations, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency.

  • Support product testing, characterization, and validation.

  • Implement SOPs, lab safety, EHS standards, and cleanroom procedures.

  • Manage cleanroom facilities, equipment installation, and maintenance.

  • Analyze operations, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align R&D with organizational goals.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training for a high-performing team.


About You

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field (advanced degree preferred) with 10+ years in semiconductor R&D, including 5+ years in engineering operations.
  • Hands-on experience with semiconductor processes, test methodologies, and cleanroom operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills with high attention to detail.
