A leading semiconductor manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee production operations within a high-volume, technology-driven manufacturing environment. The role will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, production output, quality performance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
This position will lead cross-functional teams across production, engineering, and supply chain to optimize manufacturing performance and support business growth objectives.
Manage daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, delivery schedules, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
Lead and develop production teams, including supervisors and engineers, to drive operational performance and workforce capability.
Implement operational strategies to improve productivity, yield, cycle time, and cost efficiency within semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production challenges and support new product introductions or process transfers.
Monitor key manufacturing KPIs such as equipment utilization, yield rates, scrap levels, and on-time delivery performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
Ensure compliance with semiconductor industry standards, environmental health and safety regulations, and internal quality management systems.
Manage capacity planning, resource allocation, and production scheduling to support customer demand.
Oversee equipment maintenance coordination with engineering teams to minimize downtime and ensure operational reliability.
Support budgeting, cost control initiatives, and operational planning activities.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8-12 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or high-tech manufacturing environments.
At least 5 years of leadership experience managing production or operations teams.
Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, cleanroom operations, and equipment-intensive production environments.
Proven track record in driving operational improvements, yield enhancement, and cost optimization.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in wafer fabrication, semiconductor assembly/test, or advanced packaging environments.
Exposure to global manufacturing operations and multi-site coordination.
Six Sigma certification or formal continuous improvement training.
