Job Summary
The Manager, Hospitality Projects Development oversees the planning and execution of hospitality development projects across Hotels and F&B concepts. The role manages projects from feasibility and design through construction and pre-opening, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline while meeting brand and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and procurement schedules.
- Coordinate design stages (concept to construction documentation) for hotel and F&B projects.
- Monitor progress, manage variations, and ensure timely delivery.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with internal team (Operations, Finance, Procurement, IT, Marketing) and external consultants, contractors, operators, and authorities.
- Ensure alignment between design intent and operational functionality.
Financial & Governance Control
- Track project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.
- Support tender processes, contract administration, and value engineering.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and governance requirements.
Quality & Brand Standards
- Ensure projects meet brand standards and guest experience objectives.
- Conduct site inspections and oversee quality assurance during construction.
Pre-Opening & Handover
- Support hotel and F&B pre-opening activities.
- Manage project handover including snagging, defect rectification, and documentation.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare project reports and management updates.
- Contribute to best practices and post-project reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Architecture, Building, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in hospitality project development (hotels and/or F&B).
- Experience in pre-opening, renovations, or new developments.
- Strong understanding of brand standards, guest experience.
- Working knowledge of construction coordination and regulatory processes.
