We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Manager/Senior Finance Executive to join our team. You will be a sole contributor responsible for end-to-end finance management of the Singapore entity, with regional oversight responsibilities for a Dubai subsidiary and a related US entity whose accounting is performed by an outsources accounting firm.
The role combines strategic FP&A (50%) and hands-on accounting, control, and compliance (50%), acting as the primary finance liaison between local management, Group HQ, overseas entities, and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning process, ensuring optimal resource allocation in alignment with business objectives.
- Perform monthly variance analysis across all entities, providing clear explanations and insights to local management.
- Prepare consolidated management reporting packs covering Singapore and Dubai subsidiary.
- Monitor cost structures, profitability and cash flow trends across entities
- Collaborate with cross-function teams to gather financial data and support business cases, pricing analysis and investment evaluations including cross-border initiatives
- Act as finance partner to management on commercial, operational, and strategic decisions.
- Prepare and present monthly management report including P&L, Balance Sheets and cash flow statements, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Continuously improve FP&A processes, reporting quality, and efficiency
Oversea Entities (Oversight & Review)
- Acting as primary liaison with the outsourced accounting firm managing the US and Dubai books
- Review monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Ensure accounting is in line with Group policies and reporting requirements
- Coordinate year-end close, audit support, and tax filings with external providers
- Oversee intercompany transactions and ensure timely settlement and reconciliation
- Provide oversight on cost control, cash flow and finance risks
Stakeholder Liaison & Compliance
- Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
- Coordinate with tax agents to support corporate tax filings, GST submissions, and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for banking relationships, including mandates, financial operations, and facility management.
- Liaise with corporate secretary on statutory filings, board resolutions, and corporate governance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and internal control policies.
- Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to senior management, the board of directors, and external partners.
- Support treasury-related activities including cash flow monitoring and funding arrangements.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancement within the FP&A function.
- Drive continuous improvement in data integrity, accuracy, timeliness and relevance across all financial reporting and analysis.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimu 3 years of relevant experience in subsidiary, regional, or SME finance roles
- Strong hands-on experience in both FP&A and accounting
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
- Experience overseeing overseas entities and outsourced accounting providers
- Comfortable operating independently in a lean, sole-contributor role
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
