Job Description

The Manager, Finance is responsible for managing the REIT's treasury reporting, cash flow and funding planning and monitoring key capital market credit metrics. The Manager will report to the Chief Financial Officer of CLCTML. This role works closely with other Capital Market / Treasury counterparts.

He/She must have good analytical skills, and be meticulous in delivering reports to stakeholders. He/She is expected to have a good sense of local and global regulatory requirements and opportunities in the market. He/She is skilled at managing and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day activities to ensure smooth operations of treasury functions
  • Prepare treasury and debt reports for Lenders, Corporate and Trustee
  • Prepare / review treasury data in SAP treasury module for accounting
  • Ensure FATCA / CRS compliance
  • Coordinate and oversee China / Singapore funding requirements including monthly operating expenses and repatriating of funds from China
  • Prepare budget, cash forecast and distribution payment timeline
  • Perform funding forecast and scenario analysis for investments and operations
  • Manage fixed deposit and money market fund investments
  • Liaise with banks, legal counsel, potential lenders/debt investors, credit rating agencies for financing matters such as bank loans, derivatives, multicurrency term notes and equity fund raising
  • Monitor foreign currencies and interest rate exposures
  • Manage and monitor hedging policy and in compliance with treasury policy
  • Assist in any other treasury related tasks or ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Certified Public Accountant or possess a professional qualification in Finance
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in treasury function
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin to collaborate with China counterparts Preferably with prior experience in listed companies or REITs
  • Knowledge of local and China regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in SAP is an added advantage
  • Self-driven and able to work independently under tight schedules
  • Strong team player with strong strategic thinking ability and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced business environment
