Brief Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Manager to oversee the Development & Maintenance of EUC tools. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team while engaging with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain EUC tools primarily utilizing Microsoft Access and Excel.
- Manage systems development involving SSIS, Stored Procedures, PowerShell scripts, SQL Server, and general database technologies on Windows Server.
- Lead a team of 3-4 engineers while also performing individual tasks.
- Serve as the primary interface with stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication regarding technical information.
- Manage the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in a Waterfall environment.
- Translate complex technical matters into understandable terms for end users.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience.
- Proven experience as a Consultant in a reputable consulting firm is required.
- Previous employment in banking IT departments and involvement in related projects.
- Strong hands-on development experience with various programming languages.
- Extensive expertise in databases and server-side technologies, including SSIS, Stored Procedures, PowerShell scripts, and SQL Server.
- Logical thinking ability and effective communication skills to explain complex issues to non-technical users.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management capabilities and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Understand and adapt to stringent banking IT policies and development environments.
- Good communication skills in Japanese (business-level proficiency is essential) for liaising with stakeholders.
- Experience managing the entire SDLC process using a Waterfall approach.
- Prior team management experience and a proactive communication style.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access VBA (forms, queries, modules, tables, reports, macros) and development experience in .NET or C# is an advantage.
