Job Description

Manager, Brand Intelligence & Performance

The role supports the delivery of brand research programmes, marketing effectiveness analysis, and competitive brand intelligence across Aon and NFP. Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Brand Intelligence & Performance, the role is responsible for day‑to‑day delivery, analysis, and insight development, ensuring high‑quality, clear, and actionable outputs that support business outcomes, market cut‑through, and brand and campaign activity.

The role plays a key part in translating data into practical insight and recommendations, while ensuring programmes run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

What the day will look like

Brand Research Programs

  • Administer the day‑to‑day delivery of the annual Brand Health Survey, including coordination and program management with the research partner, preparation of reporting and dashboards, scheduling of presentations, and facilitation of data and information requests.
  • Support for the Singapore Brand framework, including updating year end documentation and ensuring year-on-year changes, as well as brand and marketing communications activity, are accurately captured.
  • Contribute to global brand research and measurement programmes, including strength‑of‑brand assessments and Aon Story colleague pulse surveys, leading specific workstreams as appropriate and ensuring timely delivery and high analytical and reporting standards.
  • Champion evidence‑led decision‑making by translating brand performance data into clear insight, reporting, and guidance that supports leadership decision-making, business outcomes, and effective brand and campaign activity.
  • Establish and maintain a central brand research library, ensuring key documents, output, and reference materials are well organized, up to date, and easily accessible.

Marketing Effectiveness Analysis

  • Support the implementation of a consistent insight-led approach to measuring the impact of global brand and marketing activity, including paid media.
  • Partner with marketing teams to help interpret campaign performance and in‑campaign brand uplift results for global paid media, supporting the synthesis of learning across markets and report writing.
  • Assist in identifying patterns and themes across campaigns and preparing clear summaries and recommendations to inform future activity.
  • Establish and maintain a central campaign library for global paid media activity, ensuring key documents, output, and reference materials are well organized up to date, and easily accessible.

Competitive Brand Intelligence

  • Support the development and maintenance of a structured, evidence‑based view of industry developments and key competitor activity, including monitoring industry developments and competitor activity and preparing brand intelligence reporting delivered to an agreed cadence.
  • Establish and maintain a central competitive brand intelligence library, ensuring key documents, output, and reference materials are well organized, up to date, and easily accessible.

Insight and Recommendations

  • Supporting the Head of Brand Intelligence & Performance, translate brand research, marketing effectiveness, and competitive intelligence into clear insights, reporting, and practical recommendations.
  • Prepare materials, summaries, and analysis for leadership audiences, enabling informed decision‑making and follow‑up actions.
  • Work with regional teams to help connect global insight with local considerations and planning, supporting effective application of insight across markets.
  • Support the sharing of brand insight and intelligence between Aon and NFP teams, contributing analysis and perspective on market perceptions to enable collaboration and strengthen brand visibility and impact.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Research, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Experience in brand research, insight, marketing effectiveness, and competitor monitoring, ideally within professional services, financial services, or similarly complex, matrixed organisations.
  • Strong grounding in research and insight programmes, including brand health tracking, performance measurement, and insight development, with a focus on quality, rigour, and practical application.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into clear, actionable insight that supports decision‑making across brand, marketing, and broader business priorities.
  • Experience partnering with brand and marketing teams to interpret campaign performance, brand uplift, and effectiveness results, synthesising learning across markets.
  • Strong analytical skills, sound judgement, and attention to detail, combined with a pragmatic, solutions‑oriented mindset.
  • Solid understanding of brand fundamentals, including positioning, messaging, and storytelling, and their consistent and accurate application in practice.
  • Clear, confident communicator, able to prepare high‑quality materials and reports, and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with strong programme, project, and stakeholder management skills, capable of managing multiple workstreams, partners, and timelines end to end.
  • Ability to drive cross‑functional initiatives, working collaboratively across teams, geographies, and functions to keep work aligned and moving forward.
  • Comfortable operating as a hands‑on individual contributor, taking ownership of day‑to‑day delivery while enabling the senior leader to focus on strategic priorities, with the ambition to grow into broader responsibility over time.
  • Detail‑oriented, resilient, and collaborative, able to maintain momentum and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work across global time zones, including US-Singapore working hours.
