An established private real estate investment platform is seeking a hands-on Asset Manager to join its team in Singapore. The role will focus on driving asset performance through leasing, operations, and financial management, with full-cycle involvement across various real estate assets.This is a rare opportunity to step into a broad and impactful position within a dynamic and collaborative investment team.
The Role
Reporting to senior management, the Asset Manager will take on full responsibility for the performance and operations of assigned assets. The role requires a strong execution mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with leasing agents, property managers, and other external service providers.The successful candidate will be expected to manage day-to-day leasing activity, oversee operational performance, and ensure alignment with the broader investment strategy.
Key Responsibilities -- Lead the implementation of leasing strategies to support occupancy and revenue targets
- Manage and monitor the performance of property managers, leasing agents, and other service providers
- Oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of the assets, including budgeting, maintenance, and service quality
- Track and report on key financial and operational metrics such as occupancy, income, expenses, and lease expiry profiles
- Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders and capital partners, including variance analysis and commentary
- Review asset-level P&L, support budgeting and forecasting, and identify opportunities to optimise income or reduce costs
- Provide support during acquisition, due diligence, and asset disposal processes as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile -- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in real estate asset management or portfolio operations
- Strong familiarity with leasing, property operations, and financial performance tracking
- Able to manage external consultants, vendors, and service providers effectively
- Analytical and numerate, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Proactive, independent, and comfortable working in a lean team environment
- Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional certifications (CFA, CAIA, CPA) are a bonus
