Management Trainee/Associate

Key Responsibilities

1. Rotational Exposure

• Gain hands-on experience in retail operations, sales & merchandising, e-commerce, marketing, and supply chain management.
• Assist in day-to-day retail store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer engagement.
• Support trade marketing and product launch activities to drive sales performance.

2. Operations & Process Improvement

• Assist in sales analysis, stock planning, and demand forecasting.
• Identify gaps in processes and recommend data-driven improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Learn and support compliance with NEA, HPB, and SFA regulations for FMCG retail.

3. Business Development & Partnerships

• Support the business development team in exploring new retail, B2B, and export opportunities.
• Help manage partnerships with retailers, malls, and online platforms.

4. Project & Leadership Development

• Participate in strategic projects such as pop-up store planning, digital campaigns, or new product launches.
• Lead small initiatives under guidance to build leadership and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or early-career professional with a Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Passion for FMCG, retail, and brand building.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace data analysis skills a plus.
• Flexibility to work retail hours or weekends during key campaigns or launches.

Performance KPIs(for appraisal and bonus)

• Operational KPIs: Accuracy in reporting, timely execution of assigned tasks.
• Sales KPIs: Contribution to store or campaign sales targets.
• Process KPIs: Improvement suggestions implemented or cost/time savings achieved.
• Learning KPIs: Completion of assigned modules and performance in rotation assessments.
