Job Scope:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes (stir-fry, dim sum, noodles, rice, soups, and specialty dishes) according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Ensure food is cooked and presented in a timely manner while maintaining consistency in quality and portion control
- Manage kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, cooking equipment, and workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor inventory, assist in ordering ingredients, and minimize food wastage
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and communicate effectively with service staff to ensure smooth operations
- Follow workplace safety procedures and handle kitchen equipment responsibly
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook/Chef in a restaurant or hotel
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
