Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure high quality service level, ensuring rapid response to minimize downtime of equipment as part of maintenance planning and control
- Plan and delegates daily Preventive Maintenance / Corrective Maintenance work to supervisor/ work teams
- Plan advance preventive maintenance or corrective maintenance work to minimise equipment downtimeDo recommendation and approval for all ordering spare parts for all equipment
- Ensures safety policies, practices, administration are enforced and complied during work
- Ensures all recovery tools and equipment in operational readiness etc.
- Ensures all workshop facilities and housekeeping are in good working condition
- Engaging communication with OEM and suppliers for technical support or quotation for additional repairs
- Conduct root cause analysis on critical equipment breakdowns and provide recommendation for the preventive of recurrence of the breakdowns
- Prepare Critical Problem Report for all equipment breakdown on flight
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head
Requirements
- Minimum Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution
- Preferably with additional training and / or work experience in electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and processes which are necessary for the competent maintenance of automatic and/or semi-automatic equipment
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant discipline prefers from automotive or airport ground support equipment industry
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience
- Must possess strong skills in project management and workshop service centre operations
- Must possess strong skills in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Root Cause Analysis
- Must possess minimum LTA Class 3 driving license and above
- Must possess Microsoft Office, SAP and report writing skills.
