Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Oversee maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of instrumentation equipment, including sensors, control valves, PLCs, and control panels.
2. Diagnose and resolve issues with instrumentation and control systems in a factory or plant setting.
3. Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs aimed at maintaining stable operations and minimizing equipment downtime.
4. Conduct routine checks and calibration of control devices, ensuring optimal performance of valves, PLCs, and control panels.
5. Modify and adjust PLC systems and control panels to enhance process control effectiveness.
6. Supervise contractors and vendors throughout the installation, servicing, and repair processes of instrumentation equipment.
7. Provide guidance and support to maintenance technicians in their daily operations.
8. Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance and inspection activities.

Requirements

1. Diploma or technical certificate in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of practical experience with instrumentation devices, including temperature/pressure sensors, control valves, PLCs, and control panels.
3. Strong knowledge of measurement and control systems, with a focus on signal processing and sensor specifications.
4. Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and planning for preventive maintenance.
5. Excellent teamwork and coordination abilities when collaborating with internal staff and external vendors.
