Senior Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Conduct maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of instrumentation equipment including sensors, control valves, PLCs, and transmitters.
2. Diagnose and resolve issues related to instrumentation and control systems within a factory setting.
3. Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs aimed at maximizing operational stability and minimizing equipment downtime.
4. Perform routine checks and calibrations of control devices, such as PLCs and control panels.
5. Optimize process control by making adjustments or modifications to PLC systems and control panels.
6. Oversee contractors and vendors during the installation, servicing, and repair of instrumentation equipment.
7. Guide and supervise maintenance technicians in their daily operational tasks.
8. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.

Requirements

1. Diploma or technical certificate in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with instrumentation devices, including temperature and pressure sensors, control valves, PLCs, and control panels.
3. In-depth knowledge of measurement and control systems, including signal processing and sensor specifications.
4. Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and planning preventive maintenance.
5. Strong teamwork and coordination skills when collaborating with both internal staff and external vendors.
6. Preferred educational background or technical certifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.
