E&I / Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Chemical Plant

Job Description

• Carry out electrical, instrumentation and control system maintenance activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair works for plant or production equipment.
• Maintain motors, MCC, VFD, switchgears, control panels, sensors, transmitters, analyzers, PLC, DCS and related systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, automation or control system issues to reduce downtime.
• Support equipment installation, testing, commissioning, modification and improvement works.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance teams, contractors and vendors on maintenance activities.
• Support plant reliability, safety compliance and equipment performance improvement.
• Ensure all works follow safety, quality, environmental and company requirements.
• Prepare maintenance records, inspection reports, service reports and technical documentation.
• Senior candidates may guide technicians or support supervisory duties.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in electrical maintenance, E&I maintenance, instrumentation, automation or plant maintenance.
• Candidates from chemical, petrochemical, process plant, manufacturing, pharmaceutical or industrial environment are welcome.
• Knowledge of motors, MCC, VFD, PLC, DCS, sensors, transmitters, analyzers or control systems will be an advantage.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical or instrumentation faults independently.
• Experience in equipment installation, commissioning, calibration or maintenance planning will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work, LOTO, electrical safety, risk assessment or plant safety procedures is preferred.
• Good communication, coordination, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Senior Technicians with strong hands-on E&I experience may be considered.
