Maintenance Engineer

Job Description :

• Day-shift role with operational standby duties.

Plant Maintenance and Reliability

• Lead troubleshooting and give technical support to the shift technicians (mechanical and instrumentation).
• Make sure the right spare parts are ordered and kept in stock to reduce plant downtime when equipment breaks down.
• Improve maintenance programs to keep the plant running well. Check how equipment is performing and update maintenance plans to make machines more reliable.
• Write clear maintenance instructions so everyone can do their work safely.
• Make sure the maintenance program follows the company's internal rules and global engineering safety standards.
• Make sure maintenance instructions are written with a high-quality mindset and follow strict industry data reporting rules.
• Keep the workshop clean and tidy-make sure the right parts are on hand and stored in the correct places.
• Review completed work orders on time.
• Help the Engineering Manager plan and coordinate the yearly plant shutdown.

Product Changeovers and Improvement Projects:

• Lead and coordinate maintenance work to help the production lines switch over to new products quickly.
• Help finish small improvement projects by updating preventive maintenance plans to match the project goals.

Capital Projects:

• Find and lead plant improvement projects.
• Help process engineers design and install new equipment so that it is easy to maintain in the future.

Education Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree (with Honors) Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering / a relevant engineering field.
