Job Summary

Support the planning, execution, and optimization of maintenance and special projects to enhance facility and production equipment performance, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of smaller projects and support special projects to improve facility operations and production equipment performance
• Analyze facility and equipment failures, initiate corrective actions, and perform hands-on maintenance to minimize downtime and support production needs
• Optimize performance of electrical and mechanical systems through continuous improvement activities and skill development programs
• Review and recommend upgrades for facility machinery to align with the latest technology and industry trends
• Evaluate and review annual contractual agreements with suppliers and vendors, providing recommendations for renewals to management
• Manage and maintain compliance with fire and safety legal requirements across the facility
• Maintain accurate maintenance and servicing documentation in accordance with the Company's Quality Management System standards including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 14000, and BizSafe3
• Promote and observe good housekeeping and safe working environment practices
• Manage inventory and control of facility and equipment spare parts to ensure availability and cost efficiency
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by immediate superior

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering
• Technical knowledge of engineering principles, machinery, electrical systems, and maintenance protocols essential for effective facility and equipment management

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 2-3 years of working experience in manufacturing environments, demonstrating practical application of maintenance and engineering skills
