Position: Contract (1 year, Renewable)

Roles and Responsibilities

As a M365 engineer at MUFG, your key responsibilities may include:

Designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.

Monitoring via automation cloud resources for performance and cost optimization.

Troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues.

Develop, implement, and maintain configuration of underlying cloud services, specializing in M365 and Azure.

Developing scripts for deployment, monitoring, reporting, and alerts, ensuring a robust, redundant, scalable 100% uptime infrastructure.

Analyze security threats and applicability to customer environments.

Triage and resolve technical and user issues.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement cloud solutions.

Ensuring compliance with security and data protection policies.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 services.
  • Implement new features and updates in the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation for Microsoft 365 configurations and procedures.
  • Monitor the performance and usage of Microsoft 365 services.
  • Perform regular audits and assessments of the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for Microsoft 365 usage.
  • Provide technical support for Microsoft 365-related projects.
  • Assist in the migration of data to Microsoft 365 services.
  • Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions in Microsoft 365.
  • Manage Mobile Devices (corporate phones and BYOD)

Job Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required.

  • 2+ years of experience in managing Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A commitment to continuous learning and adaptability.

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture and services.
  • Experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intunes(MDM), Blackberry and OneDrive for Business.
  • Expert level Proficiency in PowerShell scripting or .Net skills for Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Must be able to leverage MS Graph capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with security and compliance in Microsoft 365.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 licensing and subscription management.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 migration projects.
  • Familiar with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager - Administration)
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified is a plus.
