Summary:
- 5-day work week
- Islandwide project sites with government sector exposure
- Hands-on work with VMware Cloud Foundation, Tanzu, and Kubernetes
Responsibilities:
- Lead migration of IT systems from on-premise to secure government cloud (VMware Cloud Foundation)
- Deploy, configure, and maintain vSAN, NSX, vCenter, and SDDC Manager
- Manage and troubleshoot VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes clusters
- Automate provisioning and deployment with Aria Automation & GitLab CI
- Administer Linux & Windows servers, including Tomcat, Apache, and IIS
- Monitor system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools
- Implement system security hardening and manage security testing (DAST, SAST, PT, SVS)
- Collaborate with HQ technical teams and government CISO units
- Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure post-migration
Requirements:
- Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), Tanzu, and Kubernetes
- Skilled in Aria Automation (vRealize Automation) and GitLab CI
- Strong Linux & Windows server administration skills
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus & Grafana
- Knowledge of IT security practices and testing methodologies
- Relevant certifications (VCP, CKA, CKAD, CISSP) advantageous
