M&E BIM Modeller - Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled M&E BIM Modeller to support the design and coordination of Mechanical & Electrical systems, including air-conditioning and ventilation (ACMV). The role involves producing accurate BIM models and drawings to ensure smooth project execution and coordination across all disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain BIM models for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, including electrical, ACMV, and plumbing
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction drawings
- Use BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD for modeling and coordination
- Perform clash detection and coordinate with architectural and structural teams to resolve conflicts
- Ensure all BIM models comply with project specifications, standards, and authority requirements
- Update models and drawings based on design revisions and site conditions
- Coordinate closely with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors
- Extract quantities and assist in material take-off when required
- Attend coordination meetings and provide technical support for BIM-related matters
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of all BIM files
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in BIM modeling for M&E / ACMV projects
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of M&E systems, including electrical and air-conditioning (ACMV)
- Familiar with Singapore BIM standards and construction practices is an advantage
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
