Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics Supervisor (Warehouse) to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure smooth, efficient, and safe workflow. This role requires strong organizational skills, proven leadership ability, and hands-on experience in warehouse management. The ideal candidate will be able to lead and motivate a team, manage inventory effectively, and maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, order tracking, and stock management.
- Implement efficient warehouse processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with internal departments to meet order fulfillment and shipment deadlines.
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff to ensure high performance and morale.
- Provide regular guidance, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Ensure staff compliance with safety protocols and workplace standards.
Inventory Control
- Oversee regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Investigate discrepancies and work with the inventory team to resolve issues.
- Assist with audits and recommend improvements for inventory optimization.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
- Identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness among all team members.
Equipment & Maintenance
- Ensure proper use and upkeep of warehouse equipment and tools.
- Coordinate inspections and preventive maintenance schedules.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports on warehouse performance.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, damages, and adjustments.
- Report incidents, accidents, or unusual activities to the Warehouse Manager.
Covering Duties
- Perform the responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager in his/her absence to ensure operational continuity.
- Perform any related tasks as assigned by your Manager during daily operations or staff coverage.
Job Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required a Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field is an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems and software.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Skills: Solid knowledge of inventory control practices.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift items up to 23 kg (50 lbs), operate warehouse machinery, and perform physical warehouse tasks as needed.
- Willing to perform overtime when necessary to support operations.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
