Role Description
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring smooth operations, safety compliance, and accurate inventory management. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and operational expertise. The Supervisor will manage a team of warehouse staff, coordinate logistics processes, and maintain high standards of efficiency and accuracy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Overseeing receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Monitoring inventory levels, performing cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records.
- Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Coordinating with logistics, procurement, and transportation teams to optimize workflow.
- Managing warehouse equipment and ensuring proper maintenance and utilization.
- Identifying process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Handling escalations, resolving operational issues, and maintaining team morale.
- Preparing operational reports and performance metrics for management review.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or degree in logistics/operations is a plus.
- 15 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management, and safety regulations.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required.
