Ensures the smooth, cost-effective, and timely flow of goods by managing inventory, coordinating transportation, and handling shipping documentation
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Order Cycle Management: Coordinating the end-to-end process from accepting orders and picking/packing to final delivery to customers.
- Inventory Control: Maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and handling incoming/outgoing goods.
- Logistics & Transportation Coordination: Scheduling daily deliveries, managing transport vendors, and ensuring prompt, cost-effective distribution.
- Warehouse Operations: Supervising warehouse activities to ensure efficient storage, handling, and organization of goods.
- Documentation & Compliance: Processing shipping documents, invoices, and ensuring compliance with import/export regulations and safety standards.
- Customer Support & Vendor Management: Resolving customer queries/complaints and managing relationships with suppliers, vendors, and carriers.
- Performance Optimization: Monitoring key performance metrics (KPIs) to identify and implement process improvements
Responsibilities
