Job Summary
You will manage customer orders and shipments for air, ocean, customs clearance, and local delivery, coordinating with carriers, vendors, and overseas offices to ensure timely, cost-effective logistics operations and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders for air, ocean, customs clearance, local delivery, and freight forwarding for import, export, and cross-trade shipments
- Coordinate shipment bookings with carriers, vendors, and overseas offices to secure timely transport arrangements
- Develop and maintain business relationships with logistics service providers to achieve cost savings on logistics expenses
- Monitor ship schedules before arrival and oversee loading and discharge operations at ports
- Ensure timely receipt and follow-up of hire, freight, dead freight, demurrage, and dispatch payments
- Support sales order processing by providing accurate and efficient logistics coordination
- Plan, analyze, and monitor logistics processes to ensure smooth order handling and implementation
- Liaise with customers, freight forwarders, and warehouses to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues
- Address customer feedback and ensure accurate order fulfillment to maintain customer satisfaction
- Collect and provide data, statistics, analysis, and reports promptly to support logistics operations
- Prepare and declare import and export permits in compliance with regulations
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Fresh graduates are welcome training will be provided
- Candidate with permit declaration experience will be advantage
