The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing a team to deliver logistics services and solutions to group companies in APAC.
This includes supervisory and mentoring and ensuring that key performance indicators are achieved.
The Logistics Manager works closely with other departments to optimize supply chain processes and improve overall efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, transportation, and distribution in Singapore.
Establish standard operating procedures in export and import activities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards especially for Singapore export and import.
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, factories and customers to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation of goods in timely manner.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Supervise and mentor logistics staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and ensuring that the team is well-trained and equipped to handle the logistics operations.
Involves container forecasting, booking and coordinating shipments for import/export.
Experience in leading a logistics team and work cross-functionally to improve supply chain efficiency.
