Job Description

Job Summary:

  • The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing a team to deliver logistics services and solutions to group companies in APAC.
  • This includes supervisory and mentoring and ensuring that key performance indicators are achieved.
  • The Logistics Manager works closely with other departments to optimize supply chain processes and improve overall efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, transportation, and distribution in Singapore.
  • Establish standard operating procedures in export and import activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards especially for Singapore export and import.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, factories and customers to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation of goods in timely manner.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Supervise and mentor logistics staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and ensuring that the team is well-trained and equipped to handle the logistics operations.
  • Involves container forecasting, booking and coordinating shipments for import/export.
  • Experience in leading a logistics team and work cross-functionally to improve supply chain efficiency.
