The Logistics Administrator supports the end-to-end movement of materials, components, and finished semiconductor products. This role ensures timely and accurate coordination of shipments, inventory transactions, import/export compliance, and documentation. The Logistics Administrator works closely with production, purchasing, warehouse, planning, and customer service teams to maintain smooth operational flow in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate outbound shipments of finished goods
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with freight forwarders, carriers, and courier services
- Track shipments and provide status updates to internal teams and customers
- Prepare and review shipping documents: packing lists, invoices, AWBs/BLs, COO, MSDS, and customs forms
- Ensure adherence to import/export regulations (e.g., HS codes, ECCN, controlled goods, export licenses)
- Maintain accurate logistics records in accordance with corporate and regulatory requirements
- Process inventory movements in ERP systems (Outbound goods, transfers, RTVs, shipment confirmations)
- Reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system data in coordination with warehouse teams and production
- Communicate shipment schedules and logistics issues to customers and suppliers
- Handle customer shipping requirements (labeling, packaging standards, documentation templates)
- Resolve logistics-related issues such as delays, damages, and discrepancies
- Work closely with Production Planning to ensure timely shipment of Finished Products to the client
- Support Quality team for RMA shipments, incoming inspections, and quality holds
- Maintain updated SOPs for logistics processes and system transactions
- Support logistics KPIs reporting (OTD, freight cost, cycle time, etc.)
- Partner with Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams to support order fulfilment
- Assist in improving logistics processes and implementing cost-saving initiatives
- Handle damaged goods, lost shipments, or delivery exceptions
- Coordinate corrective actions with carriers and internal teams
- Ensure service recovery in case of delays or customer dissatisfaction
Requirements:
- Diploma in Logistics
- 1-3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
- Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, freight terms, and carrier operations
- Experience with ERP, WMS, and transportation management systems (TMS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general data entry
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with import/export processes and customs compliance
- Familiarity with Incoterms
- Knowledge of LTL, FTL, parcel, ocean, and airfreight
- Strong analytical skills and process-improvement mindset
