Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and manage the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, transportation, warehouse operations, and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) management, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize transportation, warehousing, and inventory control, driving operational efficiency and cost savings
- Lead the selection, negotiation, and management of relationships with 3PL providers to ensure alignment with performance KPIs, service levels, and cost targets
- Monitor stock levels and forecast demand to maintain optimal inventory, preventing shortages and overstocking
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipping operations by optimizing routing, negotiating carrier contracts, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Coordinate warehouse activities to maximize space utilization and improve operational workflows, including managing outsourced warehousing partners
- Control logistics costs by analyzing financial performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities, including optimizing 3PL contracts and expenses
- Maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships to ensure seamless logistics operations
- Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies to mitigate risks
- Implement process improvements and technology-driven solutions to enhance logistics performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
- Focus on logistic movers, international movers and cross boarders operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Certification in Logistics (e.g., APICS, CSCMP, or Six Sigma in Supply Chain Management)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management
- Experience working with 3PL providers, transportation management, and inventory systems
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with third-party logistics providers
- Experience with inventory management systems, ERP software, and transportation management systems (TMS)
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze logistics data and optimize operations for cost efficiency
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, warehousing, customs regulations, and global logistics trends
- Experience managing international supply chains and cross-border logistics
