Loan Manager (SME Financing | Sales Focus)

About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing player in the SME financing space, focusing on unsecured working capital solutions for businesses in Singapore.

They are looking for a driven Loan Manager (Sales Focus) to grow their SME portfolio, manage end-to-end client relationships, and drive revenue through new business acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and acquire SME clients with financing needs
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline via self-sourcing, referrals, and partnerships
  • Conduct initial credit assessments (financials, bank statements, ACRA data)
  • Structure tailored financing solutions based on client cash flow and needs
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure
  • Work closely with internal credit and operations teams for smooth execution
  • Maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Monitor portfolio performance and support renewals

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in SME financing/business loan sales / unsecured lending
  • Proven track record in originating and closing business loans in Singapore
  • Strong understanding of SME financials and credit fundamentals
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently
  • Existing network of SME clients, brokers, or referral partners is a strong advantage
  • Exposure to fintech lending or alternative financing platforms is a plus
