Linux System Administrator

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Linux System Integrator (Consultant) to support large-scale system migration and integration projects across Asia. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-performance electronic trading systems and collaborate with regional teams.

It&aposs a one-year contract with a possibility of extension.

What You&aposll Do:

• Plan and carry out system migration and integration under Linux/Unix.
• Work with cross-functional teams (systems, hardware, project managers).
• Test and validate systems after migration.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues during/after migration.
• Ensure project timelines and milestones are met.

What You&aposll Need:

• Strong Unix/Linux system experience (administration, troubleshooting, monitoring).
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting.
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Nice to Have:

• 1-3 years of experience
• Experience with large-scale system migrations.
• Exposure to financial systems.
• Knowledge of C++/Java, SQL, networking (TCP/IP, UDP, multicast)
