Job responsibilities:
- Underwrite Life and Critical Illness insurance applications within delegated authority boundaries, following company underwriting standards
- Assess client proposals for adjustments to underwriting guidelines, offering market-appropriate recommendations
- Analyze internal processes and suggest improvements to bolster risk management
- Foster professional relationships and communication with client underwriters
- Mentor junior underwriters and organize training sessions to improve underwriting expertise
Job requirements:
- Experienced in Life and Critical Illness underwriting for 5 years or more
- Currently holds underwriting authority for mortality and critical illness products, including the ability to make sub-standard decisions
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese languages
- Capable of adapting and effectively managing various products and clientele
- With Underwriting authority for HNW individuals is advantageous
