Position Overview
The Sales Manager (Leisure) is responsible for expanding the high-value leisure client base and building strong relationships with global markets, luxury agencies and travel partners. This role drives revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, exceptional client service and proactive business development, while collaborating with internal teams to maximize opportunities and deliver unforgettable experiences for discerning guests.
The Role
Sales activities
- Manage and grow a designated luxury leisure portfolio, driving revenue and expanding the client base.
- Develop and execute action plans aligned with hotel strategies, analysing market trends to maximize business volume and room rates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel trade partners, luxury agencies, tour operators and clients, following up on all leads promptly.
- Understand luxury guest expectations, service standards and hotel offerings (Spa, F&B, Leisure packages), delivering exceptional after-sales service.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain multiple levels of client contacts to strengthen long-term business relationships.
- Represent the hotel at international tradeshows and industry events, and track performance through regular sales reports and account management practices.
Talent Profile
- Bachelor in Business/Sales & Marketing or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury hotels
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Opera Cloud, or other hotel CRM tools)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting, presentations and analysis
- Familiarity with market intelligence and competitor benchmarking tools
- Digital sales platforms and online booking engines
- Data analysis and reporting for revenue tracking, KPI and forecasting
