The local entity in [Singapore] operates as a sales and trading company responsible for marketing, distribution and channel development.
2. Hiring Background
To support the company's business expansion in [Singapore], we are seeking a Legal Counsel to provide legal support for local business operations, distributor partnerships, and commercial activities.
3. Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Draft, review, and revise various contracts to support business objectives while safeguarding the Company's legal and commercial interests.
- Provide legal advice on corporate governance, day-to-day operations, and regulatory matters affecting the Company's cross-regional activities.
- Support dispute resolution and litigation management by developing effective strategies to mitigate legal risks.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment with the Company's interests and applicable legal requirements.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and provide timely legal opinions on policy changes, regulatory developments, and other legal matters.
- Assist department heads in developing and implementing legal processes, guidelines, and templates to enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualifications
- Singapore citizen or PR; Fluent in Chinese and English
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience.
- Strong knowledge of contract, corporate and regulatory matters.
- Experience in dispute resolution and litigation management.
- Good communication, legal research and analytical skills.
- Good command of English; Mandarin is an advantage.
