Legal Counsel (6-Month Contract) | Real Assets & Digital Infrastructure

We are partnering with a leading investor-backed developer and operator of digital infrastructure assets across the Asia-Pacific region. As the business continues its regional growth and project delivery activities, it is seeking a Legal Counsel to join the legal team on a 6-month contract basis.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across investment, development, commercial and operational functions, supporting a broad range of legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Supporting acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and strategic transactions.
• Advising on real estate, development, construction and infrastructure-related matters.
• Providing day-to-day legal advice to business stakeholders on contractual and commercial risks.
• Assisting with financing transactions and corporate projects.
• Supporting legal, governance and compliance initiatives across the region.
• Coordinating and managing external counsel in various jurisdictions.
• Working closely with internal teams to facilitate the timely execution of business objectives.

Requirements:

• A law degree and qualification to practice in a common law jurisdiction.
• Approximately 4-8 years post-qualification experience.
• Training from a reputable international or top-tier law firm and/or relevant in-house experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Corporate / M&A, Commercial Contracts, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity, Investment Funds, Projects and Development
• Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• A pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach with strong commercial acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams within a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working on cross-border transactions within APAC would be advantageous.
