Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Veterinary Technology)
What You Will Be Working On
- Design, develop, review, and deliver Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes (both full qualifications and short courses) in veterinary–related disciplines such as animal care, veterinary nursing, animal behaviour and training.
- Develop training materials, including lesson plans, slides, assessments, and practical guides
- Identify emerging industry trends and opportunities to develop new CET courses and programmes
- Adopt innovative and learner-centric teaching methodologies, including blended and experiential learning approaches
- Design and develop e-learning content, including microlearning modules
- Monitor and evaluate course satisfaction and performance
- Implement improvements to enhance learning outcomes and participant experience
- Coordinate pre-semester planning, including timetabling, resource allocation, and course setup
- Support course promotion activities
What We Are Looking For
- Qualification in veterinary technology/veterinary nursing or its equivalent from recognised institutions.
- At least 3 to 8 years of relevant industrial experience in a vet clinic/animal hospital.
- Familiar with Day One Competences for Veterinary Nurses.
- Have a passion for developing talents, and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with youths and adult learners.
- Resourceful and able to work independently to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to work within a team.
- Able to work in the evenings for night classes
