[What the role is]
Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Veterinary Technology)[What you will be working on]
. Design, develop, review, and deliver Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes (both full qualifications and short courses) in veterinary-related disciplines such as animal care, veterinary nursing, animal behaviour and training.
. Develop training materials, including lesson plans, slides, assessments, and practical guides
. Identify emerging industry trends and opportunities to develop new CET courses and programmes
. Adopt innovative and learner-centric teaching methodologies, including blended and experiential learning approaches
. Design and develop e-learning content, including microlearning modules
. Monitor and evaluate course satisfaction and performance
. Implement improvements to enhance learning outcomes and participant experience
. Coordinate pre-semester planning, including timetabling, resource allocation, and course setup
. Support course promotion activities
[What we are looking for]
. Qualification in veterinary technology/veterinary nursing or its equivalent from recognised institutions.
. At least 3 to 8 years of relevant industrial experience in a vet clinic/animal hospital.
. Familiar with Day One Competences for Veterinary Nurses.
. Have a passion for developing talents, and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with youths and adult learners.
. Resourceful and able to work independently to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
. Demonstrated capacity to work within a team.
. Able to work in the evenings for night classes
