What The Role Is

Temasek Polytechnic's School of Business is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual in the field of marketing, media and communications, who is dedicated to inspiring and preparing learners for a successful career.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Conduct lectures, tutorials and student consultations which include the supervision of industry projects.
  • Develop relevant teaching materials for subject which include the setting of assignments, marking and moderation of results.
  • Embed technology-enabled practices into curriculum design, preparing students to harness digital solutions, such as AI, analytics and automation, to optimise performance, strengthen brand impact, and deliver tangible business value.
  • Evaluate and enhance the quality of curriculum, lesson design, delivery (e.g. e-learning, flipped classroom etc.) and assessment through implementing appropriate teaching and learning strategies and methods.
  • Organise student activities and learning journeys (both local & overseas) to promote holistic learning.
  • Stay current and responsive to changing trends in the professional and educational landscape through active engagement with industry and professional bodies/communities.
  • Participate actively in professional developmental activities such as industrial engagement or consultancy work.
  • Address the diverse learning needs of students and devise ways to develop students potentials holistically through a range of interventions.
  • Conduct and/or attend subject review and team meetings.
  • Contribute to poly-wide/school-wide events or activities.
  • Develop and facilitate professional workshops and Continuing Education Training programmes.

What We Are Looking For


  • At least 5 years of work experience in corporate communications, media management, journalism or digital marketing, with demonstrated knowledge and skills across content strategy, storytelling, data analytics and multiplatform content development, including the ability to conceptualise, produce, evaluate, and optimise content for diverse audiences using industryrelevant practices and workflows.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, creative thinking, and proficiency in digital tools driving transformation across communications, media and marketing, such as web analytics, content creation tools, marketing automation and Generative AI tools with the ability to apply these tools critically and ethically.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Passion to interact with pre-employment students and part-time adult learners.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and in meeting deadlines.
