Responsibilities
- Develop strategic plans for new store openings, lease renewals, relocations, expansions, and closures.
- Lead lease negotiations and manage ongoing renewals with landlords.
- Evaluate the impact of renovation cycles, sales transfers, project rollouts, and changes in store portfolio (e.g., expansions, closures, relocations).
- Conceptualize creative design proposals for tender submissions and maintain a network of designers for collaborative projects.
- Coordinate closely with Project and Maintenance teams to address facility-related concerns, renovations, and landlord-driven improvements.
- Review lease agreements, consult legal counsel as needed, and flag any contractual discrepancies or concerns.
- Manage and follow up on all lease documentation to ensure timely completion maintain accurate and up-to-date leasing reports and schedules.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly updates and reports to Senior Management.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with landlords, property agents, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure all leasing activities comply with legal and operational standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to identify and evaluate potential expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with landlords and agents to secure new locations via tenders or direct negotiations.
- Foster long-term stakeholder relationships to support future growth and partnerships.
- Keep abreast of real estate trends and market developments in Singapore, consistently scouting for suitable locations for brand expansion.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and business gatherings as needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related discipline, with at least 1-2 years of experience in tenancy management and leasing.
- Strong presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Sound understanding of commercial lease terms and conditions.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Skilled at coordinating cross-functional resources to drive business development.
- Highly analytical with a strong commercial mindset.
- Prior experience in the F&B sector and familiarity with both public and private tendering processes will be advantageous.
