Chick-fil-A Singapore's Leadership Exploration and Development (LEAD) program is a 36-month program focused on the development of high caliber business professionals in Singapore that are well-versed in business operations and can effectively leverage this knowledge to deliver premier learning experiences.
LEAD Participants will be responsible for delivering high quality learning experiences on restaurant operations that affect Chick-fil-A brand standards through training and consulting for franchised Operators during new restaurant openings.
LEAD Participants also will have the opportunity to assist in leading training offered for Chick-fil-A Singapore Staff and Operators on new products, services, and applications.
Roles and Responsibilities
Months 1 to 18 – Training Facilitator and Support for New Restaurant Openings
- Serve as a trainer to meet the core needs of Chick-fil-A Training Programs in the field.
- Demonstrate expertise in all food preparation standards and procedures, quality, and taste requirements.
- Demonstrate expertise in training resources.
- Build and maintain positive partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Provide regular consultative feedback to Program Leads and key stakeholders on the design, development and overall effectiveness of program sessions, activities, and facilitator guides.
- Provide logistical coordination support to Program Liaisons and Program Leads.
- Ensure all activities adhere to Chick-fil-A's brand standards and local health/safety procedures.
When LEAD participants have successfully achieved the learning outcomes listed above, they will progress to assume job responsibilities associated with understanding and running a profitable restaurant and hone their business acumen in months 19-36.
Months 19 to 36 – Grand Opening Support Responsibilities
- Support fellow Grand Opening Trainers, in areas of performance management, and ensure a common understanding on how to consult with Operators and provide optional training support to restaurant leaders about Chick-fil-A Asia's brand standards and operational functions affecting brand standards.
- Oversee and manage Grand Opening budget, including labor, travel, meals and entertainment.
- Support Grand Opening process by consulting with the Operator on planning strategy and execution of the Operator's vision for their individual business.
- Consult with the Operator on brand standards and operational issues affecting brand standards, such as their business plans, sales generation, vendor strategy, and maximizing their restaurant layout.
- Partner with Grand Opening Marketing Team to execute and provide operational support for all PR and Marketing activations.
- Consult with Operators regarding systems to ensure food safety, such as LEAN Chicken. Complete SAFE Daily Critical and eRQA daily, evaluate results and advise on corrective measures as appropriate.
- Forecast sales and consult with Operators on inventory levels.
- Consult with Operators regarding optional resources and tools available to ensure consistency with brand standards, including the learning guidebook.
- Provide consultation on Operators set up of restaurant with necessary equipment, small wares, and office items to ensure food safety, food quality and quick service.
- Support and advise Operators on back-office systems.
- Create an exit strategy for the Grand Opening support team to ensure minimal impact to brand standards and guest experience.
- Identify and solve bottlenecks in the business, including innovating ways to maximize throughput.
- Perform any other duties as and when assigned, based on organizational needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Hospitality; or 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Ability to taste the entirety of the Chick-fil-A menu.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, which involves extended periods of standing to support restaurant operations.
- Be engaged in tasks within dynamic and bustling environment.
- Availability to work on weekends.
- Occasional business travel is expected (approximately 10–20%)
